Does Temu Price Match in the UK? Yes, But Not for Everyone
For most of 2026, Temu’s competitor Price Match was something UK shoppers read about but never saw. That has started to change. Since late September, the option has been turning up on some UK accounts — but not on all of them, and the form looks like it was built for North America. Here is how to check whether your account has it, what a UK claim needs, and whether it is worth your time.
Is Temu Price Match available in the UK?
Yes, for some shoppers — not for everyone yet. Price Match is Temu’s policy for when you find the identical item cheaper at another shop: you send proof, and Temu refunds the difference as Temu Credit. We first confirmed it on a Temu Canada account in June 2026, and at that point UK accounts simply didn’t have it.
At the end of September 2026, it started appearing on UK accounts we checked. The telling part: on one of them, an order that had no Price Match option one day had it the next. Same account, same order, same country. That points to Temu switching it on account by account, rather than launching it for the whole UK on one date.
How to check if your account has it
It takes about 30 seconds, and you need an order you paid for in the last 30 days.
-
1Open a recent orderIn the Temu app, go to Your orders and find an order you paid for in the last 30 days. The option lives on the order itself, not in your account settings.
-
2Tap the “…” button and look for “Price match/adjustment”In the app, at the bottom of the order next to Return/Refund, tap the three dots. On accounts with Price Match, the menu shows Price match/adjustment under Refund details and Track order. If it isn’t there, Temu hasn’t switched Price Match on for you yet. On the Temu website the button is usually shown directly on the order, without the “…” menu.
-
3Tap it and look for “Request a price match”A Select a request menu opens with two separate choices: request a price match, or request a price adjustment. Seeing both means you’re in. Tap Request a price match and Temu lists the items in that order you can claim for.
Don’t see it? There’s no setting we know of that turns it on. Keep the app updated and check again in a few days — we’ve watched it appear overnight. In the meantime, the money you’re most likely to be owed doesn’t need Price Match at all (more on that below).
The odd part: US shops on a UK form
When you start a request, Temu asks you to pick the shop where you found the lower price from a list. On UK accounts, that list still includes Walmart, Dollar Tree and Target — three US chains with no shops in the UK. Amazon, SHEIN, AliExpress, eBay, Etsy and Costco, which do sell to UK shoppers, are there too, along with an Other option.
It looks like Temu has reused the form it built for North America and hasn’t localised it for the UK yet. That matters less than it seems, because of the rules on Temu’s Price Match policy page: the cheaper item has to be on sale in the same country as your order, in the same currency, and open to every customer. A Walmart or Target price in dollars can’t meet that for a UK order, so in practice you can ignore the US names and stick to shops that actually sell to the UK.
Found it cheaper at a UK shop that isn’t listed, such as Argos? The form has an Other choice at the bottom. Local market stalls and in-store prices are a different story — they generally can’t be used, because Temu needs a live web page as proof. We cover that in does Temu price match local sellers?
How Temu Price Match works in the UK
The form asks for four things. Get them ready before you start, because competitor prices change fast:
- The shop, chosen from the list.
- The shop’s price in pounds — the normal price anyone can pay, not a members’ or coupon price.
- A link to the item that still works when Temu checks it, even if they aren’t logged in.
- Up to 3 screenshots showing the item’s name, brand, model, size, colour, material and price. If the shop shows how many have sold, that has to be more than 10.
The item has to be identical — same brand, model, size, colour and quantity — and in stock. You have 30 days from payment to ask, Temu reviews it by hand in about 2 business days, and an approved difference is paid as Temu Credit. Some Temu items can’t be price matched at all: second-hand or refurbished, customised, pre-sale, bundled items, gifts, mystery boxes, trading card games and anything that needs a subscription. For how this compares with other countries, see our main Temu Price Match guide.
Price Match vs Price Adjustment for UK shoppers
The same button gives you two very different claims. Price Match compares Temu with other shops. Price Adjustment compares Temu with itself: if the price of something you bought drops on Temu within 30 days, you can claim the difference. Price Adjustment is available across the UK; Price Match is only on some accounts so far.
| For a UK shopper | Price Match | Price Adjustment Automated by RefundRadar |
|---|---|---|
| When it applies | An identical item is cheaper at another UK shop | Temu drops its own price on something you bought |
| Who has it | Some UK accounts, switching on gradually | UK accounts generally |
| Proof needed | Shop, price in pounds, link and up to 3 screenshots | None — Temu checks its own price |
| How long | About 2 business days, reviewed by hand | Usually straight away |
| Where the money goes | Temu Credit | Temu Credit (or sometimes your original payment method) |
| Time limit | 30 days from payment | 30 days from payment |
| How often | Once per item per order | Again each time the price drops further |
One rule catches people out: you can only use one of the two on each item. Once a Price Adjustment refund has been issued on an item, Temu greys it out for Price Match, and the other way round. So if you’re planning to price match a specific item, don’t take a small Price Adjustment on it first.
Black Friday: what won’t count
With Black Friday weeks away, it’s tempting to match Temu against the UK sales. Temu’s UK Price Match policy says no to most of them. These competitor prices are excluded:
- Black Friday, Cyber Monday and similar event prices
- Flash sales, time-limited deals and clearance — think Amazon Lightning Deals
- Prices that need a coupon or voucher code
- Members-only or new-customer prices — such as Prime-only deals
- “Buy 2, save more” style multi-buy prices, cashback offers and prices that look like mistakes
The flip side: sales are also when Temu’s own prices tend to move. If something you bought in October gets cheaper on Temu in the November sales, that’s a Price Adjustment, and it doesn’t care what Amazon is doing.
Is it worth it?
Sometimes, but less often than you’d hope. Two things work against Price Match on Temu:
- Temu is usually already the cheapest. When we compared items from a real order against Amazon and Walmart, the other shops were two to three times more expensive, not less.
- “Identical” is hard to prove. Most Temu products are unbranded, so there’s rarely the same brand and model at another shop to point to.
Where it can pay off is a branded item — a named phone case, a toy, a gadget — that a big UK shop sells for less at its normal price. For everything else, the money most UK shoppers leave behind is the Price Adjustment they never claimed, because nobody checks their orders every day for 30 days.

Frequently asked questions
Does Temu price match in the UK?
For some shoppers, yes. Since late September 2026 Temu has been showing Price Match on some UK accounts, but not on all of them. It seems to be switching on account by account rather than for the whole UK at once. If your order’s “…” menu shows “Price match/adjustment”, opening a menu with “Request a price match”, your account has it.
How does Temu price match work in the UK?
In the app, open an order from the last 30 days, tap the “…” menu and choose Price match/adjustment, then Request a price match. Pick the shop, enter its price in pounds, paste the link and add up to 3 screenshots. Temu reviews it in about 2 business days and pays any approved difference as Temu Credit. The item must be identical, in stock in the UK, and at a normal price open to everyone.
Why can’t I see Price Match on my Temu UK account?
Most likely because Temu hasn’t switched it on for your account yet. We saw it appear on one UK account overnight, on an order that didn’t have it the day before. Check again every few days and keep the app up to date.
Price Adjustment — the refund when Temu’s own price drops within 30 days — works whether or not you have Price Match.
Does Temu price match Amazon UK?
It can, if your account has Price Match: Amazon is one of the named shops on the form. The Amazon item has to be identical, in stock, sold in the UK and priced in pounds, and the price has to be open to everyone. Prime-only prices, coupons, Lightning Deals and other limited-time offers don’t count.
Why does Temu UK’s Price Match list Walmart and Target?
Walmart, Target and Dollar Tree are US chains with no UK shops, so it looks like Temu reused its North American form for the UK without updating the list. Because Temu requires the cheaper item to be sold in the same country and currency as your order, a US price is very unlikely to be accepted on a UK order. For a UK shop that isn’t listed, use the “Other” option.
What are the Temu Price Match limits in the UK?
Temu’s UK policy allows one price-difference refund per item per order, up to $200 a month for the same item (across up to 10 requests) and $500 a month per shopper. The limits are written in US dollars even on UK accounts, and the page doesn’t say how they convert to pounds.
How long does a Temu Price Match take in the UK?
Temu says about 2 business days, and an approved difference is paid as Temu Credit. A Price Adjustment, for when Temu’s own price drops, is usually processed straight away with no proof needed.
Can I claim Price Match and Price Adjustment on the same item?
No. It’s one or the other for each item. Once a Price Adjustment refund has been issued on an item, it can no longer be price matched, and the other way round.
Does RefundRadar claim Temu Price Match for me?
No. RefundRadar claims Price Adjustments automatically — when Temu’s own price drops after you buy. Price Match needs you to find an identical item at another shop and send screenshots for a manual review, so it’s one you do yourself.
